In 2021, after a year of missed milestones, I hosted a Prom for teens who never got theirs. Watching them dance, laugh, and reclaim a moment they’d lost reminded me why meaningful experiences matter — and why I love what I do.

And because I believe celebrations should be fun, memorable, and sometimes a little unexpected, I’ve planned everything from weddings to themed parties — including a hilarious “funeral” for the death of our friend’s youth at 50. She still talks about it.
